Do you know any exercises to help me get in shape for ski season?

I really need to strengthen my knees which kill while skiing. I have an exercising ball , some weights, and a treadmill.

You should try some squats, stair climbing and then running 30 minutes on your treadmill at high intensity. Work on lower back and abs for balance. and try some push-ups right out of the bed! do this 3 times a week. I started this routine last october and was enjoying the slopes december 10th last year. Oh and i lost 22 pounds in the process.
