My name is David Watson and I’m an avid downhill skiier. I prefer intermediate and expert runs with lots of moguls. I live near Moonlight Basin in Montana but I travel a lot to ski in really great places. One of my favorite runs is Jay Peak, Vermont. Whistler Blackcomb in Canada is at the top of my list. Just some sweet runs there. I’m huge into fresh powder, moguls and AIR TIME!
I put this site together because I have a bunch of buddies who kept asking me how I had the stamina to ski so long every day that we go out. I thought that maybe some of the information I know and I’ve found could be useful to other people outside of my little circle of friends. So, I hope you enjoy the information here on skifitnessworkout.com.
I’ve also done some research on good workout routines that can help you become a better skiier. I’ve sifted through the junk to find the best of the best. In fact, I found a great program called “Avalanche Training”. I started using it, and within just a couple of weeks, my legs were feeling stronger than they ever have. I’ve got a video review of the program on this site, so watch it when you get a chance. Maybe we’ll bump into each other on the slopes someday!
